The number arrived without a denominator. In the disclosure of Operation Serengeti III — Interpol's third coordinated sweep against cybercrime across 21 African states — Angola's line item read as more than 2,000 mining devices seized, folded into a continental total of 1,462 arrests and roughly $105 million in recovered assets. Within hours the hardware figure was circulating as a supply-side event. Two thousand machines is a warehouse. It is not a hashrate policy.
